What We Believe
The Bible
We believe the Bible to be the scriptures of truth - the infallible word of God, fully inspired. The supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
Mankind
We believe in the total depravity of man - therefore because of that depravity he cannot save himself. Only an act of divine mercy and grace can save him. This alone comes from the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Blood of Christ
We believe in the efficacy and the power of the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ to redeem and cleanse a man from his sin. This means that all the just demands of a thrice Holy God have been satisfied because of the "Shed Blood", and no other remedy can wash a person from their sin. "Nothing but the Blood of Jesus".
The Godhead.
We believe in the "Trinity and Unity of the Godhead". Almighty God exists in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
The deity of Jesus Christ.
We believe in the pre-existence of the Lord Jesus Christ as "The Son of God who became the Son of Man".
The Person of Christ.
We believe in his miraculous virgin birth conceived of the Holy Ghost. We believe in his Impeccable Sinless Life "Living for us and keeping for us the law of God we could not keep".
We believe in His substitutional and atoning death at Calvary, paying in full the price God demanded for sin. He is - The Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world.
We believe in His bodily resurrection - rising from the grave on the third day according to the scriptures, and "Because He lives, we shall live also".
We believe in "His beautiful high priestly ministry" as He stands "Bodily" for us in the presence of God making intercession for us. He is our mediator between God and man.
We believe in His "personal" second coming - Bodily, Literally, Physically, to resurrect the righteous dead to translate the living church to set up His glorious and everlasting Kingdom.
